The Opportunity
We're seeking a Golf Course Sales Executive to drive golf course adoption of the Reach Golfers GPS + course management solution across the Southeast US. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing technology company at the ground floor, representing a product that golf course operators genuinely love and golfers rave about.
You'll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing—working alongside our inside sales team to build pipeline, deliver compelling demos, and close deals with daily-fee courses, municipal facilities, and private clubs across your territory.
What You'll Do
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Partner with our BDR/inside sales team to identify and qualify target courses in your territory
- Generate and leverage referrals from our existing customer base
- Establish and grow relationships with key associations and industry influencers within your territory
- Attend regional PGA & NGCOA events, golf industry events, and conduct on-site course visits
- Build relationships with golf course management companies, superintendents, and owner/operators
Course Adoption
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations both on-site and virtually
- Obtain a deep knowledge of the competitive landscape and our unique differentiation
- Articulate the value proposition: superior golfer experience + course operational efficiency + new revenue streams
- Tailor demos and business cases to different course types (daily fee vs. private, municipal vs. resort)
- Navigate decision-making processes involving GMs, owners, boards, and operations teams
- Build custom ROI models showing green fee increases, labor savings, and advertising revenue potential
- Address technical questions and coordinate with our product and operations teams for specialized needs
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms, execute contracts and close deals
- Manage hand offs to operations and customer success teams for installation and go-live
Account Management
- Maintain relationships with courses through the installation and go-live experience
- Obtain referrals and testimonials from customers
- Identify strategic customer advisory board members
- Meet with customers regularly to obtain feedback and share with colleagues to drive continuous improvement and product innovation
- Mitigate any renewal risks to ensure they move forward
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience - you have sold to golf courses or sold within hospitality/recreation industries
- Proven track record - you have consistently met or exceeded quota in a field sales role
- Deep knowledge of golf course operations - you understand the daily challenges of course managers, the importance of pace of play, and how courses drive revenue
- Consultative selling skills - you build business cases, not just pitch features
- Comfort with technology - you can demo software, explain technical features, and troubleshoot on the fly
- Self-starter mentality - you thrive with autonomy and can manage your own territory effectively

Compensation
